Benefits of Strength Training

I spend my days preaching strength training to anyone and everyone. A wise man once said that no one ever regretted getting stronger, I challenge anyone to find an example that contradicts his statement.

Good quality, basic strength training can be as simple as an exercise to train the glutes, one to challenge the quads, some upper body pushing and pulling and teaching the core how to brace. Performed in all planes of motion, avoiding any sort of pain or injury and over time progressively getting more challenging. I don’t propose training to failure. Burpees are dumb. This simple principle can be applied to any and all goals.

Want to lose weight? Get stronger! Want to look better naked? Get Stronger! In pain? Get stronger! Want to be in charge of your own destiny and not rely on this country’s criminally underappreciated social care system in your latter years..? GET STRONGER!
